Built to solve a problem
we watched happen.
Senior backend engineers take 4–6 months to hire right now. Most CTOs we talk to have had an open role posted since Q1. The roadmap doesn't wait. The platform debt compounds. And the agency options available — either expensive, low-accountability body shops or solo contractor marketplaces with no guarantees — don't actually solve the problem.
Fulmenflux is what we built instead.
I led engineering teams delivering features for a micro-lending network — coordinating across engineers, timelines, and stakeholder expectations in a domain where mistakes have real financial consequences. That experience shaped how I think about team accountability.
More recently, I built ABAXUS — a self-hosted billing infrastructure engine that runs inside Kubernetes and handles the problems that Stripe doesn't solve for you: idempotent event ingestion, mid-period plan changes, audit trails, usage aggregation at scale. That project is the reason Fulmenflux has real fintech and billing domain depth, not marketing copy.
The Fulmenflux Standard — the screening process, the Pulse System, the 21-day guarantee — isn't a sales feature. It's the system I would have wanted in place when I was the one responsible for a team's output. It exists because "we'll find someone good" isn't a guarantee. Written contracts are.
Romania is an EU member state. IP protection, GDPR-compliant data handling, and enforceable contracts under established legal systems — not an afterthought.
UTC+2/3. 6–9 hours of overlap with US East Coast. Enough for daily standups, async review cycles, and on-call coordination without either side working overnight.
Technical University of Moldova, Polytechnic University of Bucharest. Strong CS fundamentals, not bootcamp certificates. The region produces engineers, not just developers.
We don't do mobile, frontend, AI/ML, or general full-stack. We go deep on backend and infrastructure. That focus is why the engineers we find are better than what a generalist agency can field.
The 21-day replacement guarantee is in the contract — not something we say on a sales call and forget. Every component of the Fulmenflux Standard is contractual. If we won't write it down, we don't say it.
The Pulse System exists because problems between a client and an engineer are always smaller on week two than on week eight. Weekly async check-ins aren't overhead — they're the difference between a replacement conversation and a churn event.
Clients see the team composition they're paying for. No blended rate black boxes. If you're paying for a Tech Lead and three engineers, the invoice says exactly that.
We pre-screen. You select from a shortlist of 2–3 in a single 30–60 minute call. That's the full hiring effort on your side.
Weekly async check-ins. Monthly scorecards with delivery pace, communication quality, satisfaction. You receive it automatically.
Not working out in the first 90 days? Replaced within 21 calendar days at no additional cost. In writing, in the contract.

30 minutes. No commitment. We'll ask about your stack, your team, and where the bottleneck actually is.
